Electrical As Built Preparation

Are you having problem finding the source of electrical faults in your property?

Not having updated electrical drawings, affects you in many different ways :

  • Wasting time and money to identify the source of fault which reduces productivity during business hours
  • Fire safety issues
  • Electricity shock danger
  • Maintenance works difficulties
Any building during its life time, goes through many maintenance works and most of the time, they are not being reflected any where! That’s why it is hard to carry out modification or find the reason behind power cuts.

The procedure & deliverables:

The inspection and testing should be carried out at appropriate intervals in order to determine the changes which have been done since previous visit, which includes:
  • Visual inspection on electrical panels and installations
  • Discussing with the property manager/ person in charge to identify the previous changes and modifications
  • Necessary site visits to collect information on the recent modifications ( additional lights, additional sockets, new AC, pump,…etc)
  • Updating the electrical layouts and load schedules
  • Placing tag on switches and sockets for future maintenance works
  • Submitting updated As-Built electrical layouts
  • Submitting report on any faulty / hazardous installation
  • Providing suggestions and solutions to rectify faulty installations
